Codes and Permit Information

The Town of Roseboom no longer has a codes officer, instead Town of Roseboom Code is handled by Otsego County Codes.  

The Otsego County Code Enforcement Office is responsible for administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Construction Code (Uniform Code) and the New York State Energy Conservation Code (Energy Code).  

 In an effort to better serve the public, the Otsego County Code Enforcement Office asks that any applications and materials be submitted either electronically through email, or be faxed, or be sent to us by U.S. mail whenever possible.

 The office will be open for drop-off of materials or payments. A full review of your application will be performed in the order it was received; and, we will contact you by phone or email to discuss any matters as needed.
